Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Each week they provide a Top Ten topic for you to create your list, then you share it on their post so others can find you. :)
♥ Top Ten Books for the Beach♥
I don't do beaches often, but these are all books I could imagine reading at one. I thought about this as not just lighter reads, but reads that really engrossed me. Since I can be easily distracted, and there's lots to be distracted by at a beach, I felt that was key. :)
What would your beach reads be?

Ooooh, The Raven Boys is such a phenomenal book! I have to admit, I preferred that over The Scorpio Races (which was also really amazing). If you want to get lost in a mystical, magical world then Stiefvater is definitely your girl!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist but I adored the movie version. I'm also a HUGE David Levithan fan so I'm really excited to read the book. Wonderful list, Brandy!
Totally agree on Maggie! :)
DeleteI haven't seen the movie version of N&N... but it's on my list of ones to watch as soon as I can. I had seen previews and knew who was in it, though, and I thought it was cast wonderfully, which is surprising to me - I usually balk at those things. lol
Thanks for stopping by!
Great list! I enjoyed Looking For Alaska.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy most of John Green's work... some are better than others, but I never hate them. :)
DeleteGreat list.. I love Sarah Dassen as well.
ReplyDeleteAnkita Booklok Coffee
Thanks! Dessen has some great books out there. :)
DeleteAhh Sarah Dessen again! She obviously writes great suitcase material.
ReplyDeleteShe does... she even has one with a suitcase on the cover! lol
DeleteNice list! We have one book in common this week (Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants), but you have a few others that I've either read or want to read. Nick & Norah is such a great book.

I have yet to dislike a Brenna Yovanoff cover, although Paper Valentine wasn't my favorite of the three. :)
DeleteThanks for stopping by!
