♥ Spreading the Book Love ♥

Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Each week they provide a Top Ten topic for you to create your list, then you share it on their post so others can find you. :)

♥ Top Ten Books I Recommend the Most

All of these books are on my favorites shelf for one reason or another. The writing, the story, the characters, the gut-wrenching plot twists, the boxes of Kleenex used... it doesn't matter why, it's there. Therefore, they are books that I will recommend non-stop, probably for the rest of my life. :)

What book(s) do you recommend the most?

Smiles,
B

  1. You have some awesome books on your list! I LOVED The Scorpion Races so much! I find that in my Media Center I'm frequently recommending The Maze Runner. It's usually a hit with the boys and girls, which makes me happy! With my friends I recommend Sarah Dessen and Stephanie Perkins :)

    1. I haven't read The Maze Runner. I should probably do that sometime soon. until then I'll remember you said that when I need a recommendation in my library. :) I haven't read Stephanie Perkins either but I have yet to hear any complaints with my Sarah dessen recommendations.

      Thanks for stopping by.

  2. Thirteen Reasons Why was so good, but it was a hard read because of the heavy themes. I still need to read something by John Green because everyone raves about him, ooh and the Scorpio Races! I think I put this aside because it sounded too similar to The Hunger Games, but everyone seems to have enjoyed it, so I think I'll give it a go.

    1. John Green is one you should definitely pick up sometime. I recommend Thirteen Reasons Why with the preface of heavy themes, especially if the person I am recommending to is a younger teen.
I never once thought of the Hunger Games when reading The Scorpio Races. I would be surprised if you did when you get around to it. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did... I love Maggie Stiefvater's writing too.

  6. How did you make that awesome picture of all the book covers? That is really cool.

I love your list. I've pretty much either read or have it on my TBR pile. I loved The Scorpio Races.

    1. Thanks! This time I just used Publisher to make the picture cluster ( copy/ pasted the covers) and used a font from Font Squirrel for the numbers. then saved as a picture. :) Amanda @ On a Book Bender had a post on making your own graphics with links to various sites/programs to help with it all. I haven't had a while lot of time to mess with them all but they are some great resources.
