♥ Top Ten Books I Recommend the Most ♥
All of these books are on my favorites shelf for one reason or another. The writing, the story, the characters, the gut-wrenching plot twists, the boxes of Kleenex used... it doesn't matter why, it's there. Therefore, they are books that I will recommend non-stop, probably for the rest of my life. :)
Just Listen by Sarah Dessen
Hunger Games (series) by Suzanne Collins
The Space Between by Brenna Yovanoff

You have some awesome books on your list! I LOVED The Scorpion Races so much! I find that in my Media Center I'm frequently recommending The Maze Runner. It's usually a hit with the boys and girls, which makes me happy! With my friends I recommend Sarah Dessen and Stephanie Perkins :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't read The Maze Runner. I should probably do that sometime soon. until then I'll remember you said that when I need a recommendation in my library. :) I haven't read Stephanie Perkins either but I have yet to hear any complaints with my Sarah dessen recommendations.
DeleteThanks for stopping by.
Thirteen Reasons Why was so good, but it was a hard read because of the heavy themes. I still need to read something by John Green because everyone raves about him, ooh and the Scorpio Races! I think I put this aside because it sounded too similar to The Hunger Games, but everyone seems to have enjoyed it, so I think I'll give it a go.
ReplyDeleteJohn Green is one you should definitely pick up sometime. I recommend Thirteen Reasons Why with the preface of heavy themes, especially if the person I am recommending to is a younger teen.
DeleteI never once thought of the Hunger Games when reading The Scorpio Races. I would be surprised if you did when you get around to it. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did... I love Maggie Stiefvater's writing too.
Great books still got a few of these on my TBR shelf so I have something to look forward to.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteI love the Time's Traveler's Wife!
ReplyDeleteit was such a beautiful story...
DeleteLove the way you've displayed your list! It's a really good list too.

Thanks... it was fun to make!
DeleteHow did you make that awesome picture of all the book covers? That is really cool.
ReplyDeleteI love your list. I've pretty much either read or have it on my TBR pile. I loved The Scorpio Races.

Thanks! This time I just used Publisher to make the picture cluster ( copy/ pasted the covers) and used a font from Font Squirrel for the numbers. then saved as a picture. :) Amanda @ On a Book Bender had a post on making your own graphics with links to various sites/programs to help with it all. I haven't had a while lot of time to mess with them all but they are some great resources.
