Unintentional Dust Collectors

Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Each week they provide a Top Ten topic for you to create your list, then you share it on their post so others can find you. :)

Top Ten Books I HAD to Buy...

But are Still Sitting on My Shelf

As I've said before... I'm an impulse buyer, mostly with just books. Oh, and Amazon... really? Spend a few more dollars and get free shipping? Sure... I'll just tack a book on that order. Why not? Therefore... These books are still on my shelf, yet to be read, unfortunately becoming Dust Collectors. (All unintentional... I swear... I want to show each book I own as much love as the next... and I will... I promise... someday...)

Some of these have been on my shelf for a few years, some only a few months, the latest buy being Out of the Easy. That was one of those Amazon add-on's. :)

What books have you bought that you haven't gotten around to reading?

Smiles,
B

  2. I bet the lion from the Narnia cover does not get hungry eating all the dust bunnies. Hope you find some time to read them soon.

    1. Maybe that's why they don't seem too dust covered... hmmm... ;) Thanks for stopping by!

  3. Not Narnia! *gasp* Read those as soon as you can. I can understand it being a little intimidating, especially if you bought them in that huge book. Hopefully you can read them soon, because they are beautiful :)

    1. It is an awfully daunting task, isn't it? ;) I hope to get to them this year.

  7. I LOVED Anna Dressed in Blood (it is good to read when you are looking for a male POV and a ghost read). I was not a fan of Elsewhere(I listened to it on audio and really disliked the narrator). Beautiful Redemption is on my shelf too.

    1. Anna is on my short list for the year, as is Beautiful Redemption (I really do want to know how it ends, I promise... ;)). Elsewhere I want to read, but it's not at the top of my TBR pile. Hopefully I don't dislike it, but we'll see. :)

  8. You have some really good books on your list this week! I didn't have time for TTT this week - but my list would have been so long!

    Have a great week!

  9. The only one I've read on your list is Anna Dressed in Blood, which I really liked! It was haunting and creepy, but not overly so :)

    1. I am looking forward to reading that one this year! I'm thinking I might hold off until the fall, though. We'll see... the mood may strike me sooner.

      Thanks for stopping by. :)

    1. I almost bought the sequel not too long ago, but then I figured if I haven't read the first one yet I probably should hold off on that one! ;)

    1. Thanks! I've read the first three in the BC series, then had to wait for the fourth installment and kind of lost the flow. I'm sure I'll enjoy it, I just haven't gotten to it yet. :)
