This week's question/activity:
Tell us about the most emotional scene you've ever read in a book ~ and how did you react?
Oh my. I would say Code Name Verity by Elizabeth Wein contained the most emotional scene I've ever read. I don't want to give away the entire scene, but I will just say, "Kiss me, Hardy"... I still get chills thinking about this story, and sometimes tear up when talking about it. It was that good. I'm not sure how I finished it; my tears wouldn't stop and I was literally sobbing.
What about you? What scene would you say was the emotional you've ever read?
Smiles,
B

I read Code Name Verity last year, not expecting to enjoy it, but I did! It was so sad! Great choice.

The moment in the catacombs that includes the line 'It goes on, this world, stupid and brutal. But I do not. *I*do not' From Revolution by Jennifer Donnelly (of course ;) ). That and yours above are two of my biggest. Probably not a coincidence that they'realso two of our favorite books, huh? :)
ReplyDeleteGREAT choice. :) And yes, not a coincidence that they're two of our favorites.
