Spring Cleaning

Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Each week they provide a Top Ten topic for you to create your list, then you share it on their post so others can find you. :)

Me oh my. With so much going on in my life I'm supposed to try and read ten books in one season?  lol  I'm sure I can manage. Let's see... the ones I want to read as close to right away are... definitely not in any particular order...

Smiles,

    1. I'm scared of Shiver. I had a friend that *hated* it, and we are usually pretty spot on the same as to how we feel about books. But I have LOVED everything else I've read by Maggie Stiefvater. I'd say I'm weird for being scared I won't like it, but I'm in good company in this world. ;)

      Thanks for stopping by!

  2. I enjoyed the Wolves of Mercy Fall series by Maggie Stiefvater, I hope you will too, even if your friend hated it!

I could have had some of the books on your list on my own today... but choices had to be made :D

Here's my TTT post for this week.

    Happy reading

    1. I read the first page over the weekend and nearly wanted to buy it right then. But, alas, I'm out of my book money for the month. :) There's always next month... or the library.

    1. It has to be, doesn't it? I mean, the first two were great... and I'm so anxious to see where she takes things with Alex. :)

    1. I read the first page of Out of the Easy at my local bookstore over the weekend and was nearly sucked in there(I'm already over budget this month, so I'll have to wait to buy it). I can't imagine not loving Requiem, but my nervousness remains. :)

Thanks so much for stopping by!

  7. Great List! I liked Shiver but it was a little slow in the beginning. I still haven't read the final book. I am reading Pandemonium now so Requim is next on my list. New follower :-)

    1. I'm going to finish my current read and then throw my anxiety out and start Requiem. I think I will skim the ending of Pandemonium to get a quick refresher (I mean, I remember the very last line, but just sort of get me back there...).

  8. I really, really, really want to read Out of the Easy. I love New Orleans history, so this just sounds PERFECT to me. Also, GOne Girl? Has been sitting next to my bed since Christmas...

    1. HAHA... I'm glad I'm not the only one who does that. I had a friend recommend it and give it to me (Gone Girl), I just haven't gotten around to reading it. :)

  9. The Diviners is a phenomenal book. It has so many historical, cultural, and personal elements that just transcend the story and make it so unique to anything I've read by YA. Libba Bray fully immerses you in the time and place and the whole book screams how much research she's done to make this so realistic. Plus, it's SUPER creepy, one of the creepiest books I've ever read. Definitely read that as soon as possible.

  11. Gone Girl was very interesting, it was intense. I hope you enjoy, it wasn't my kind of book but definitely leaves you thinking about it! I really really enjoyed Shiver though!

    1. I honestly don't even know what it's about. A friend told me she thought I would enjoy it and sent it to me. So we'll see. :) With all this Shiver love I'm getting more excited to read it.

  12. I've heard so many amazing things about Out of The Easy. Also, I still have to read Pandemonium, but Requiem sounds great! Amazing picks :)

    1. I figure if the first page of Out of the Easy nearly had me buying it when I didn't have the money it's probably a pretty safe bet. :) I haven't picked up Requiem yet; I think, despite the cliffhanger of Pandemonium, I'm still scared to read it. It'll be over and I'm nervous what Lauren Oliver will do to my heart in the process.
