Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Each week they provide a Top Ten topic for you to create your list, then you share it on their post so others can find you. :)
Oh Santa, I promise I've been good!!! ;)
One...
I realize this is a weird one to put on here, namely because I own it already. However, given the nature of my love with this book, allow me a brief moment to explain. I bought it October 5 (yes, I'm nerdy enough to remember the date; but in my defense I was on vacation). I pulled it off the shelf in November to read it. I discovered a small tear with a bit of a wrinkle on the upper right corner of the dust jacket. My guess is it happened in transport from vacay to home, but still. Made me sad, especially once I fell in love with it.
Two...
When I read this book I loved it, and it came as such a surprise to me. It includes historical fiction, so I thought for sure I wouldn't enjoy it as much as Malissa, who recommended it to me. Oh boy was I ever wrong. I loved it and I want the chance to re-read it whenever I choose. So, therefore, it must find a home on my shelf.
Three...
And by this I mean all four books in the Caster Chronicles series. Not that I'm greedy or anything. But really, I have been good this year. haha
Four...
I have not read this book, but how can it go wrong? :)
Five...
I am currently reading this and *loving* it.
Six...
I have read this one and loved it. Since I want to be able to re-read it whenever possible it really needs to find a home on my shelf. :)
Seven...
One of my all-time favorites. Therefore, I must own someday. Plus, if I don't own it, how will I share this amazingness with my children?
Eight...
How could I not want this? I've yet to read anything by David Levithan that I don't like. :)
Nine...
Another one of my favorites that I feel sad I don't own yet.
Ten...
I've heard such great things about this one. I try not to shelve books in my home unless I have read and loved the book or absolutely love the author (and I've not read anything by Libba Bray at this point), but this one makes my list anyway. :)

What about you? What books should Santa bring you this year?
Smiles,
B
Great list. I'm just reading TFiOS.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to get The Raven Boys, Let it Snow, Every Day and The Diviners. Great picks :)
Thanks for stopping by :)
Thank you as well. :)
DeleteNice list! We have a love affair with John Green in common :) And I giggled at your reasoning for #1...I've been there! ~Amie Beamer www.ReadingYA.com
ReplyDeleteI suppose I can share. lol And it's good to know I'm not the only one... :)
DeleteI loved The Diviners! It was amazingly written. I wish its Book 2 would come soon >_<
ReplyDeleteThat's promising! :)
DeleteGreat list! I loved Let It Snow. The Fault in Our Stars and Thirteen Reasons Why are definitely worth owning too. I hope you get everything on your list this year!
ReplyDeleteThanks... you too!
DeleteGreat list! I actually have copies of the Raven Boys and Every day but still need to read both of them!
ReplyDeleteI just saw the trailer for Beautiful Creatures the other day and was like "How have I not read this!?"
Excellent choices!!!
I imagine you will thoroughly enjoy them. :)
DeleteThanks for visiting! :)
Love all your choices. TFIOS was one of my favs this year, too. My son & I got to hear him speak & he's just amazing. Hope you get all your books!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Book Sojourner!
I would love to hear him speak! ;)
DeleteThanks for coming by!
Let it Snow is the perfect winter read! I loved it. I have Dash & Lily already, I just haven't read it yet. I'd love to get a copy of The Diviners too, but I might just end up treating myself to an early present, haha! Thanks for stopping by! :)
ReplyDeleteEarly presents are great! lol ;)
DeleteThanks for visiting.
Good list, I have Raven Boys and The Fault in Our Stars on my list as well. I also loved Thirteen Reasons Why. I totally understand wanting to be different versions of books you already own because I want to buy a differnt version of Storm of Swords even though I already own that book because it's not the way I wanted it to be.
ReplyDeleteI'm happy I'm surrounding myself with people who understand me. :)
DeleteThanks for visiting!
3. I want to read this so bad! I heard about it for a while but then I saw the trailer and poster for the movie and saw Emmy Rossum and went "OH MY GOSH GIMME THAT BOOK!" I guess it sometimes takes a movie to push you :)
ReplyDelete4. I got this from the library! I'm excited because it's by John Green ;)
5. Very cool cover.
7. AUGUSTUS *swoons*
9. Took me 3 different trips to Walmart to finish this while I waited for my dad to be done grocery shopping. Good book.
10. I WANT TO READ THIS!
I hope you get them :) I love your list! Thanks for stopping by my blog, I love yours!
I've actually not watched the trailer for Beautiful Creatures yet; I'm a little nervous. haha :)
DeleteWalmart can be good for some things, huh? LOL
Thanks for visiting! :)
Great choices! I really loved The Diviners - hope you get a copy soon! And John Green and David Levithan are on my "must read whatever they write" list -- I loved these books too. Happy holiday!

I've heard such great things about The Diviners; I'll most likely end up buying it if Santa doesn't bring it for me. :)
DeleteThanks for stopping by... Happy holiday to you too!
very nice list. i am a big fan of maggie stiefvater's, too, and have most of my books signed by her. i totally understand wanting a really pristine copy. i usually go through the stack in the bookstore looking for the perfect copy. well i hope santa brings you everything you want this year.
ReplyDeletethanks for stopping by my blog!
I'm glad I'm not the only one who does that! haha I have a book plate signed by Maggie Stiefvater for my Raven Boys, but I haven't put it in yet since I'm debating getting a 'better' copy. lol
DeleteThanks for visiting!
I haven't read any John Green, but I've seen his books and reviews. I suspect they'll be on one of my "want" lists in the not-too-distant future.
ReplyDeleteI'd be surprised if you end up not enjoying them. :)
DeleteThanks for visiting.
I was just thinking of rereading Let it Snow. Perfect this time of year :) And The Diviners is on my short list too. I've heard great things!
ReplyDeleteAnd now I get to read it soon because YOU are AWESOME! :)

Mine was sitting on my shelf for a month before I was able to get to it. I hate that life gets in the way of reading. ;)
DeleteThanks for stopping by!
Great books to pick!! And I can't wait to get my hands on a copy of The Curiosities!! your so lucky. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's really interesting. Have you seen a copy? There's comments from the authors during the stories; it's pretty awesome (which is probably more than half the reason I want to own a copy!).
DeleteThanks for visiting!
Great selection! I've come close to buying Dash and Lily's Book of Dares several times but I really can't buy anything else, so maybe I'll ask Santa for it too! I just read Beautiful Creatures and really liked it, and have much love for The Fault in Our Stars <3 it's the only John Green book I own. Great list! And thank you so much for visiting my blog :D happy reading!
ReplyDeleteSarah @ TotalTeenFiction
There's something special about The Fault in Our Stars; I definitely want to be able to re-read it any time I choose. ;)
DeleteThanks for visiting!
