Top Ten Rewind!

Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Each week they provide a Top Ten topic for you to create your list, then you share it on their post so others can find you. :)

♥ Top Ten Books I Want to Reread

Okay, so when I went through the list of previous Top Ten's, I narrowed it down to two. This one, Books I Want to Reread, and another one, Books I Wish I Read as a Kid. As hard as I thought on it, I could not come up with ten books I wish I had read as a kid. Unless I broke it down and named all the titles of an author, which I felt was cheating (such as Roald Dahl... man I wish I had let my kid-self experience that magic). But, alas, coming up with ten titles, well, authors, at least, didn't work for me. I got to six before my head wanted to explode with annoyance. So, I went with the rereads. I do feel as if this one is too easy of one, though, as I easily came up with fifteen. Fifteen. My apologies for taking an easy way out, but I did narrow it down to ten. That part was hard. ;)

I love all three of Brenna's books, but this was my favorite. I would love to revisit this world and her writing.

This was the first book I ever read by Jodi. I want to reread it to remember why I fell in love with her in the first place. (I still like her, just want to revisit that first one.)

It's The Fault in Our Stars, do I really need a reason? ♥

I know there has been a lot of mixed reviews on Requiem, but I personally really liked it. I would love to go back to the beginning and remember and relearn all those things I had forgotten.

I've already read this series three times. But I will definitely revisit it before Catching Fire is released (well, before I actually watch it, at least). And, if it's like the last time, I'll reread it again after I've seen the movie. (I was immersed in Hunger Games for nearly a month when the first movie came out... books, movie, books again.)

This was my first introduction to Maggie Stiefvater and her brilliance. I love her writing and this world fascinated and surprised me. I want to go back and see my friends.

See above, minus it being my first introduction. :)

I read this one what seems like forever ago. I want to remember the world, the lives, and why I loved it.

Although I know I will cry, once again, and be emotionally wrecked by the end, I still want to revisit this one. The shock factor will be elusive, but I can't imagine it being any less painful.

This book was so much fun and I fell in love with the characters and their adventure. I definitely want to reread this one; maybe next winter? Hmm...
What about you? What books would you want to revisit?

Smiles,
B

  1. I've read The Hunger Games twice, but a third time wouldn't be so bad. And no, you need no reason to re-read The Fault In Our Stars. I wish I could erase it from my mind completely so I could read it again for the first time. :)

    1. I don't reread often, and haven't in a while, but I would definitely reread these. I like the first time experience, but it's nice to revisit old friends sometimes. :)

  3. I almost did this topic for my TTT today! There are so many books I want to reread, but too many unread that automatically get priority. =S

I'd love to reread The Scorpio Races and Raven Boys, definitely - those are two of my favorites. I did reread the Hunger Games trilogy before the movie came out - might just reread Catching Fire this time before Movie 2. I don't know if I could actually physically make it through TFIOS a second time. Knowing how it ends... I'd probably be a mess the whole way through!

    1. That is so true. The new ones always get priority and our old friends get dust. ;) And although I'd probably be a mess through the entirety of TFIOS as well, I'd do it again.

  4. I have reread the Hunger Games way to much! But Delirium is definetly reread-worthy! I only reread when I'm craving a certain genre!

  5. I haven't read many of these for the first time so I need to get on that :-) However, HG is a definite re-read for me too!

  7. Seeing that you want to reread the two Maggie Steifvater books makes me realize I should probably start both of those soon :P AHH TBR lists are so killer!

    1. You definitely should. :) It's so hard when you can only read so fast and that TBR list grows exponentially by the day. lol

  10. One day I will re-read Scorpio Races! Perhaps when I'm in the right mood so I can actually love it too, ha. I'm afraid to re-read CNV because what if I don't love it as much as I did?? Eep.

    1. It would suck to reread CNV and *not* love it as much. But I can't imagine that thought, so I'm not scared. Until I actually go to pick it up, then I imagine I will freak out. lol :)

  11. Every time a movie comes out that's based on a book I have to reread the book, so undoubtedly I will reread The Hunger Games trilogy before the Catching Fire movie comes out!
