Top Ten Most Anticipated Books For 2013

This week's topic is all about anticipation, the books we are (im)patiently waiting for the release of in 2013.

I really really want to know what happens next. I hate that I read Delirium and Pandemonium (the first two in the series) when Pandemonium came out. I'm happy I discovered them, just hate the waiting for the conclusion.  :)

I thoroughly enjoyed the first two novels by Brenna Yovanoff - The Replacement and The Space Between - and I am pretty excited and looking forward to this one.

I like Maureen Johnson's writing and I'm excited for this next installment.

I just *love* this cover. I want to read it based on that alone. Oh. And it sounds pretty good.

I read How to Save a Life and really enjoyed how she developed the story and the characters. I'm interested in reading more by her, and this one sounds promising.

Sadly, no cover art yet.
Despite having yet to read Beautiful Redemption, I am loving the Caster Chronicles series by her and Margaret Stohl. Because of this I am looking forward to reading this one.

See above. :)

I ran across this one on Goodreads and it caught my attention. Interested to see if it keeps it.

I have yet to read anything by David Levithan that I haven't enjoyed. :)

It's Neil Gaiman. I figure I can't go wrong. Hopefully he proves me right.

What books are you looking forward to? I'd love to hear from you. Leave a link to your own Top Ten post or simply just tell me some in the comments below!

Smiles,
B

    1. Thanks for the follow. :)

I think it's as good as they say. Then you'll read Pandemonium and it ends and you'll want to pick up Requiem *right away*. In my case, though, I couldn't, and have to wait nearly a year. Stupid of me, to have read them before the series was complete. lol Obviously I can't promise it, but I say give it a go. :)

    2. Haha, I know what you mean! That's why I'm hesitant to read novels that are first in a series... I'd rather wait for a bit until book 2 and 3 are not too far off :)) Good for me though some of my favorite series will be ending in January...

    3. Sometimes I'm too impatient to wait, but then I pay for it later. :) I'm reading Maggie Stiefvater's The Raven Boys right now, and I'm sure I'll run into the same problem. haha

  5. Brandy, great list! I hadn't heard about the new David Levithan -- that goes right on my must read list! Is Paper Valentine connected to Brenna Yovanoff's other books, or is it a stand-alone? She's an author I've been wanting to try. Looks like we're all waiting for Neil Gaiman!

    1. Thanks Lisa! Paper Valentine is another stand alone novel. None of hers, as of yet, are series. I've noticed the Neil Gaiman phenomenon as well. lol
      Thanks for stopping by!

    1. Thanks for doing the same. :) If you haven't read The Space Between (Yovanoff) you should look into that one, too, if you like her writing.
