Haha, different tastes for different folks :^) I can totally understand that the writing style isn't always friendly. Sometimes too wordy, sometimes slow moving, but I wholeheartedly recommend you give them a go. After a little bit I usually get into the rhythm and can focus on the story. Happy reading!
